Yesterday was the 23rd anniversary of the day Sex and the City premiered on HBO. A month ago I had the idea to go to the area in NYC where they filmed some of SATC to re-create three of my favorite Carrie Bradshaw looks and I wanted to share these looks with you all.
Sex and the City is one of my favorite shows, I have re-watched it more times than any other show or movie. It literally gets better as I get older and I appreciate it more and more.
It is even more exciting that we're getting a 10 episode arch of the show on HBO Max with a new title "And just like that". I am super excited for these new episodes, to see what my girls have been up to and where are they now...
Carrie Bradshaws outfits are the most memorable to me because her style connects with me more. She took a lot of risks with prints and colors, I enjoy that very much. She was obviously meant to be the most fashionable of the crew with her love for fashion and expensive shoes(i.e: Manolo Blahnik), similar to myself. Full circle moment that now Sarah Jessica Parker has her own shoe line(SJP Collection) which sells a variety of styles, colors, heights and etc. It was meant for her to have a shoe line and she is also very stylish in real life.
This shoot was so much fun and it was a lot of fun re-creating these looks, so here it is...

One of my favorite looks would definitely have to be this white button down belted look. It was so simple yet so chic, I loved it so much. I literally gasp every time I see it lol, it is just so effortless!
