Back in September 2019 I styled the icon, pioneer and beat box king, Doug E. Fresh.
It was for sure a moment, thank you to photographer, Donn Thompson.
I styled 5 looks for Doug, we did a mixture of street style, casual, mixed with formal wear. I wanted to show different facets of him.
For the first look, we started off with an all black Gucci suit, Kit and Ace shirt, Bally shoes and Tom Ford sunglasses. Kept it real sleek with an all black look. I love monochromatic outfits, it makes your silhouette look long and you look put together without even trying too much.
The second look is probably my favorite of them all. I love a man in a suit, Doug is wearing an Armani shirt, Helmut Lang pants, Bally shoes and Dior eyewear. I styled a different black suit but for this look we broke it up with a white button down. I left some buttons open and threw a Gucci tie around his neck to make the look a little bit semi-casual.
*The running theme for these looks are sunglasses, Doug is a fan of eyewear like me so that was a fun element to add to each outfit.*
The next outfit is very casual.
Doug is wearing Tilly's jeans, Diesel tee, Guess jacket, Gucci sneakers and Carrera eyewear.
The next outfit is probably my second favorite, I love the contrast of the black and gold.
This look is a good mixture of casual and dressy.
Doug is wearing a Zara jacket, Diesel tee, Bally sneakers and Dita eyewear.
I also love the position of Doug and the plants in the background.
The final outfit is another outfit that can be dressy but you can also switch out the shoes and style them with some sneakers and the look can be a bit more casual.
Doug is wearing a custom Persona button down, Bally shoes and Rayban shades.
